Beating Procrastination with Clow Cards

In order to push along convention ideas I have in mind I have made my morning drawing warm-up all about re-drawing the complete Clow card deck...



This is a selection from my first chunk of sketches. I really loved doing the Maze, Power and Thunder. The maze card design was already something I liked a lot so it was a bit scary going into that one. Power was great because I always love when you have a design where you don’t expect something out of it. For example the super kick-butt ability and super strength within a small girl. Thunder was fun to get its overall shape down. I also liked adding in the Japanese God and demon touches.

I'm usually kicking one of these out every morning or so as a warm up. I’ll post another batch when I have another good chunk.
